Ther Power of Community

Image
Community is more than a collection of people living near one another. It’s a living network of shared values, mutual care, and collective responsibility. A healthy community expects its members to show up — not perfectly, but faithfully. It asks us to contribute what we can, to listen when others speak, and to hold space for both strength and struggle. In return, community offers belonging, accountability, and the reminder that none of us are meant to walk alone. When a community functions as it should, it becomes a refuge. It feeds the hungry, comforts the grieving, and celebrates the victories of its people. It teaches us that healing is not a solitary act but a shared journey. We grow stronger when we carry one another’s burdens and rejoice in one another’s breakthroughs. But when pain enters the picture — addiction, homelessness, incarceration — the connection often frays. These struggles isolate people, not only through circumstance but through shame. What is addiction - A testimony

When you ask people what addiction is, you are going to get a large variety of answers from a person's inability to handle their liquor to a disease that makes someone feel like they cannot live without putting a needle full of chemicals in their arm. Welcome to Our Blog!!

Image
Welcome to Our Blog There’s something sacred about gathering around stories — the ones we’re living, the ones we’re learning from, and the ones God is still writing. This space was created as an extension of our ministry’s heartbeat: to offer hope, practical support, and a place where people can breathe, reflect, and remember that new life is possible. Here on the blog, you’ll find reflections from the work we’re doing in the community, encouragement for the journey, and honest conversations about faith, healing, and everyday life. Some posts will be simple updates. Others will be deeper dives into Scripture, recovery principles, or the realities of walking with people through hard seasons. All of it is meant to build up — never tear down. Whether you’re part of our local community or you’ve found your way here from somewhere else, we’re grateful you’re here. Pull up a chair. Read at your own pace. Share what resonates. And know that you’re welcome in this space. We’re excited to...
